Watch out in Nebraska

The print fee rises from $55 to $80 on 2026-09-01. Submit cards before then and keep $25.
You cannot work here for a day while pending. 81-885.02 gives no temporary permit and no grace period, and unlicensed work is a Class II misdemeanor.
Your license expires December 31 of the year issued and the fee is not prorated. Arrive late, renew that October to December, and you owe no CE until 2028.
Whether Course 7000, 12 hours within 180 days, reaches a recognition arrival is confirming. The statute says all licensees, the checklist omits it. Budget it.
