Nevada publishes two jurisdiction lists and neither is an eligibility screen
One names thirty jurisdictions Nevada can verify online, the other names twenty plus territories that must send certification before you apply. Together with Nevada they cover all fifty one jurisdictions, which is how you can tell they are an operations note about verification databases rather than a list of who qualifies. The real risk is timing, since an incoming certification is only good for six months.
Ask about the fee difference
The statute names $200 and the board charges $325. It is worth asking what the additional $125 covers, because on the board's own form that figure is what a Nevada graduate pays for forms and an examination.
The interstate compact
Nevada has not enacted the compact. A 2025 bill died in the Ways and Means committee, and the word returns no matches in the cosmetology statutes, the cosmetology rules or the general professions chapter. No multistate license is being issued in any state today regardless.
